Turkish Citizenship in 7 Steps Through Real Estate Investment

Step 1 – Get Tax Number.
You can apply from any tax office in Turkey with the original of your passport and your photo, and get your Tax Number.
Step 2 – Open a Turkish Bank Account
It will be necessary to document transactions during the purchasing procedure. It is important that the original of your passport and your Tax Number have been obtained at this stage. An Official Document showing your current address (such as Electricity/Water Bill) is required to open a bank account.
Step 3 – Find the property you want to buy.
Total Value must be 400,000 USD or equivalent in Turkish Lira (can be single or multiple units). Real estates that have been given the Settlement License and whose Title Deed are ready should be preferred. The fact that the houses are completed or close to completion may be a reason for preference. Must be eligible for the Official Valuation Survey.
Step 4 - Buy the Property
Use Bank Transfer and document the transaction with a receipt. Get a Land Registry and/or Notarized Sales Contract with the annotation “3 Years Not To Be Sold” as part of the requirement. After three years, you can sell your property and invest guaranteeing your citizenship maintained forever.
Step 5 - Get the Certificate of Conformity
Submit the Official Valuation Survey and Bank Transfer Receipt to the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and make your application.
Step 6 - Application for a Residence Permit in Turkey
Gather the necessary documents before applying for your residence permit. Apply to the General Directorate of Migration Management. Residence permit is an important step in obtaining your citizenship and final passport.
Step 7 – Apply for Turkish Citizenship Through Investment
Gather all necessary documents before applying for citizenship to the General Directorate of Migration Management.
