Our government has reduced the amount in the investment law for Turkish citizenship to 250,000 USD as of 2018, in order to facilitate the entry of foreign investment into the real estate sector. As of April 13, 2022, 250,000 USD has been revised and officially changed to 400,000 USD.
According to this law, you can get a Turkish passport by purchasing property, by giving a power of attorney to an official specialist within a period of three to four months.
Or, you can apply to a Turkish bank by depositing 500,000 USD or equivalent in Euro or Pound Sterling cash for 3 years.
We would also like to point out that, according to the new law, foreign investors are only allowed to bring in three international currencies (US dollar, Sterling Pound, Euro).
